The main idea behind Trekit was to create a more social platform for people who want to enjoy a good hike, travel the world, and want to spend a little more time in the great outdoors. The app’s color scheme chooses a more so dry pallet with dull greens, creams, and browns making that vintage national park poster vibe come to life. Easy UI functions are implemented and remain very simplistic in its design for easy access on the road or without cell service, cause we get how frustrating navigating during our travels can get.
